In short..

Dancer, choreographer and actress, I have trained under the
instruction of renown teachers in India, Canada, France and Iran
for more than 10 years in Indian and Persian classical, folk
and modern dance.
Along my path, i studied other artistic practices such as theater,
singing and music. My teaching and performances are imbued with
all these different colours, creating what is today my own tonality.

I currently mostly collaborate with the French-iranian music band
Trio Soltani as a solo dancer.
​
Beside dancing I teach drama to children in the south of France.
I am also an energy healer and a personnal development coach

My artistic journey started at a very early age with Classical Ballet
and Modern Jazz, along with a training in theatre, singing and music.
At the end of my teenage years I discovered and fell in love with Middle
Eastern dance and then with Indian dance.
I moved to Toronto in 2007 where I learned Indian folk and contemporary (Bollywood)
dance with Romilla Martin Gomez and took part in her dance troupe.
We won several dance competitions in 2008 and 2009.
I backpacked for 1 year through Asia in 2009-2010, crossing different countries.
This trip prepared me for the next steps of my journey.
My love for Indian dance - in which dance coexists with theater and music - and its spiritual dimension lead my to start a Kathak dance (North Indian classical dance and theatre) training in New Delhi in 2010 under the instruction of acclaimed Guru Pandit Jai Kishan Maharaj - eldest son of the Kathak legend, Pt. Birju Maharaj - and his wife, Smt. Ruby Mishra.
I studied tablas on the side with percussionist Ashish Mishra. Meditation and then yoga became integral aspects of my routine as well, spirituality being at the heart of my practice.
In 2014, while poursuing my Kathak dance training, I started a study of Central Asian dance. My exploration of the similarities between the dance vocabulary of Kathak and Central Asian dance brought me to Iran several times. There I initiated an cross-cultural dance and music research project with Iranian percussionist Fakhroddin Ghaffari, and met different dancers.
I moved back to France in 2017 and created a dance-theater performance with actress Catherine Alias.
Then I joined the French-iranian music band Trio Soltani as a solo dancer.
My own dance style ultimately emerged from my practice and exploration of the Indo-Persianate world's dance traditions. Then I slowly moved away from India and got closer to Iran.
Even though my moves remain infused with Kathak dance, it is in Persan dance that I currently perform in.

Throughout my career I have collaborated with various artists, collectives, music groups and dance and theatre companies such as the singer Emmanuelle Drouet, YAO collective, the Delhi Dance Theatre company and WEME ensemble (World Ethnic Music Ensemble) in France and abroad.
I had the opportunity to perform on various stages internationally, notably in France, Belgium, Canada, India, Iran, Vietnam, Thailand, South Africa, Reunion island...

Alongside my training and performances, I have taught drama and dance in France, Canada, and India, notably at the Bluebells International school in New Delhi.
I presently teach drama to children in the south of France (Avignon area).
